1st Day of The 2nd month (Zif!)

(Tuesday: 3rd day of the week)

"Building The House of God!"

It is written in 1st Kings 6, saying, "And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD. And the house, which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits. And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house. And for the house he made windows of narrow lights. And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about: the nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad, because outside, in the wall of the house, he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house. And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building. The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar. And then he built chambers against all of the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

And the Word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying, Concerning this house, which you are in building, if you will walk in My statutes, and execute My judgments, and keep all of My Commandments to walk in them; then will I perform My Word with you, which I spoke unto David your father: and, I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.

So, Solomon built the house, and finished it. And, he built the walls of the house inside with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the ceiling: and, he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir. And, he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most Holy Place. And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long. And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen. And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD. And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar, which was of cedar.

So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold. And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all of the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold. And within the oracle he made two Cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high. And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits. And the other cherub was ten cubits: both of the Cherubims were of one measure and one size. The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub. And he set the Cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the Cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house. And he overlaid the Cherubims with gold. And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of Cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without. And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.

And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall. The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of Cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the Cherubims, and upon the palm trees. So, also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall. And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding. And he carved thereon Cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.

And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.

In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif: and in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it." Amen!

Blessed are You, O Lord God Most Holy! I am not able to work on the web site this morning: but, I can work in my OpenOffice Word Suite! Do we do what we can do; or, do we complain about what we cannot do? We do what we can do! Thank You for this Help this morning! Let all of my Help come from You; and, let there be no help accepted by me, which comes from the darkness, because vain is the help of the darkness! You are the Lord Who allows, and prevents! You are the shield and the Guard against the evil coming in unto me. Let Your Peace rule richly with us; and, cause Your words to flow outward from us continually! This is the day of hope that the people will start to be built up; and, that will make up the Temple of the Lord. O let praise come forth, so that praise can go forth! Let joy rise up, and let joy be strong in us! And, make us to have serious minds, because You are the Lord God our Creator and provider! You cause us to know what we need; and, You have given us the Power and the willingness to ask. It is good to be in agreement with You, because You are Truth, and You do know all things! By ourselves, we don't know anything! You bless us to understand Your Truth; and, by Your Power, You turn us from our iniquities! You make us to be a praise to You upon this earth, which belongs to You! We are Yours, because we are Your creation! Amen!

I have given consideration to what Solomon started to do in the 2nd month! In the 2nd month, which is called Zif, Solomon began to build the house of the Lord! I saw the details, and the precious things that went into building of this temple. Let a man be dedicated in all that he does for the Lord! Lord, I do thank You for all that You are doing for me! I ask that You would do more through me. Let the Work of the Lord be upon me as I hope. I see the records of all of those whom You had chosen, and all that You did through them! I ask that You would do more through me, also! The Spirit is willing is what the Word has told me! My Lord, what can I do for You? We have to be built up whereby we are able to be used by the Lord to do those things which He wants done. Let the building up of me begin again, O Lord. A temple can become run down: but, You are the Lord Who restores! Age means nothing to You. You do repairs! Amen!

Concerning the building of that temple, I know that this was a physical building; and, everything that went into the construction of that building is symbolic of that which happens in us when the Lord is building us up. My Lord, I ask that You would show me all of these things clearly! All of these precious things, which went into constructing that Temple, symbolizes how precious we are to God when we are constructed with all that He has commanded in us! But, there are people who will still try to construct expensive physical buildings, and say to people that this is what God wants! The construction of that Temple was symbolic of our own construction; and, our hearts shall be filled with the Riches of God! Amen!

This is the beginning of my 2nd month of my 28th year in the Lord! Let Thy Words come unto me clearly! Yes, Lord, counsel does come from You! I have these two vans, and neither one of them is working! What would You have me to do about them? I see obstacles! You order my speech, and these obstacles shall be removed!

Pray for Wisdom, while desiring it, and believing you need it! It is written in 2nd Chronicles 1, saying, “Now, O LORD God, let Your promise unto David my father be established, because You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people, because who can judge this Your people, that is so great?

And, God said to Solomon, Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of your enemies, neither yet have asked long life; but, have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people, over whom I have made you king: wisdom and knowledge is granted unto you; and I will give you riches, and wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had that have been before you, neither shall there any after you have the like.” And, God knowing the heart when you ask, shall not see deceitful desires in the heart when you ask! Your honesty and primary desire shall be the only thing before Him!

It is also written in Exodus 31, saying, And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, “See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and, I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted, I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you; the tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all of the furniture of the tabernacle, and the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all of his furniture, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offering with all of his furniture, and the laver and his foot, and the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office, and the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the Holy Place: according to all that I have commanded you, shall they do.” Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are needed before anyone can do a work for the Lord! What God has commanded the man of God to tell the people to do, He has also given them the ability to do it! Amen!

Wisdom is the principle thing: and, with wisdom, get knowledge; and, with knowledge, get understanding! The Lord gives skills, also! The Lord God is the Provider of all! Heavenly Father, I pray for my peace, also! Let Your Peace rule richly in my heart! Amen!

We were able to go out to put some literature and CD Reports in two Laundromats today! Thank You for the inspiration, O Lord! Let that which is sown be productive, I pray Thee!
